The Codan group is engaged with schools and universities through provision of opportunities to develop skills, knowledge, and experience. We support youth development and exposure to the engineering and manufacturing industry through the following:

• Work Experience
  

  In Australia, high school students are able to apply for work experience within our Group Manufacturing business unit. This one-week program gives students work exposure across the Production, Materials Management and Supply Chain areas.
  

• Apprenticeships and Traineeships
  

  In partnership with registered training organisations, young people who wish to gain trade skills and qualifications can participate in our apprenticeships and traineeships program.

• School Tours
  

  We provide one-hour site tours to groups of high school students, exposing them to the engineering, manufacturing and corporate environment.

• University placement/final year projects
  

  Engineering students may be required as part of their curriculum to undertake a university placement or final year project to apply their knowledge in a work environment. We welcome expressions of interest and make arrangements that meet both the company requirement and the student's learning objectives.
