Donald McGurk

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Codan Limited

Donald holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Adelaide University and completed an Advanced Management Program at Harvard University in 2010. He was appointed as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Codan group in 2010.

Donald joined Codan in 2000 as General Manager of Group Manufacturing. Under his leadership Codan developed its own highly efficient and responsive manufacturing capability, and expanded capacity by creating a very successful outsourcing relationship with manufacturing partner in Malaysia. In addition to his manufacturing role, from 2005 to 2007 Donald held executive responsibility for sales of all Codan communications products, and from 2007 to 2010, executive responsibility for business performance of the company's HF radio products. In this role he led the penetration of HF products into important new market segments for Codan.

Donald came to Codan with an extensive background in change management applied to manufacturing operations, and held senior manufacturing positions in several industries.

Michael Barton

Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary, Codan Limited

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy from the University of South Australia. He joined Codan in 2004 as Group Financial Controller and was appointed Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary in 2009. Prior to joining Codan, Michael was a senior manager for KPMG Chartered Accountants in their Assurance division.

Kevin Kane

Divisional President, Radio Communications, Codan Limited

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science (Computer Engineering) from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA (Finance) from the Bittner School of Business at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York. Kevin joined Codan in 2010 as the General Manager for HF Radio Communications. Prior to joining Codan Kevin served as a Harris Corporation executive at its RF Communications Division in Rochester, New York, overseeing the federal sales and business development for the company's radio products. Kevin has 25 years of business development and sales experience in the radio communications market.

Bob Carpenter

Divisional President, Satellite Communications, Codan Limited

Bob holds a degree in Science from Marycrest University and an MBA from the University of Iowa. He joined Codan in 2011 as the Divisional President for Satellite Communications. Prior to joining Codan Bob held senior roles in sales and marketing and business development leadership during his eight years at Elbit's C4i business in Washington, DC. Bob has accumulated very valuable and relevant experience selling advanced electronics products and systems to government and military customers with Rockwell Collins and Elbit.

Peter Charlesworth

General Manager, Minelab Electronics Pty. Ltd.

Peter holds a Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with Honours and a Masters Degree in Business Administration, both from Adelaide University, and is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He was appointed General Manager of the subsidiary Minelab Electronics Pty. Ltd., in 2008 following the Codan acquisition of Minelab that same year. Peter joined Codan in 2003 as General Manager of Engineering, and then held various roles such as New Business Manager and HF Radio Business Development Manager. Prior to Codan he was a Business Unit Manager at Tenix Defence — Electronic Systems Division and he has been working in the electronics industry for more than 20 years.

Peter is the President of the Technology Industry Association (formerly the Electronics and ICT Industry Association and the Electronics Industry Association [EIA]) since 2006 and has been on the Board since 2004. During his term as President he led the merger between the EIA and the ICT Council in 2008.

Steve Hannah

Executive General Manager, Minetec Communications Pty Ltd.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering from Hull University (UK), and obtained his MBA through studies at Pittsburgh (USA) and Nottingham (UK) universities.

Steve qualified as a professional engineer (PE) in the US and is a chartered engineer in both Europe and Australia. He holds Fellowships with several professional institutions (including FIET and FIE Aust.), and he is currently an adjunct professor at Murdoch University in Western Australia. Steve has held numerous executive positions in the UK, USA and Australia.

He has a history of leading the growth of technology businesses with particular emphasis in the mining sector.Upon migrating to Australia in 1996, he led Honeywell’s Industrial Controls division for the Pacific Region, followed by CEO positions with Unidata and Calibre Controls. In January 2011 he was appointed CEO of Minetec Communications. In this role he has grown and developed the business, leading to Codan’s recent acquisition of the company

Simon Porter

Group Manager, Human Resources, Codan Limited

Simon holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia and an MBA from the University of Adelaide. He joined Codan in 2010 as the Group Human Resources Manager for the Codan group. Prior to joining Codan Simon served as the General Manager, Human Resources at Clipsal Australia, where he also held executive roles in Quality and Customer Satisfaction as well as in Health, Safety & Environmental Management. Prior to that Simon had previously worked at Holden Limited and comes to Codan with valuable and relevant experience in the automotive industry.

Matthew Csortan

General Manager, Group Manufacturing, Codan Limited

Matthew holds a Degree in Mechanical Engineering with Honours and a Masters Degree in Manufacturing Management both from the University of South Australia. In 2009, he was appointed Codan's General Manager for Group Manufacturing. Matthew joined Codan in 1999 and held various roles in manufacturing and production until his appointment as Production Manager of Communications Products in 2004. In 2006, Matthew became Manufacturing Manager of Codan, and was appointed General Manager of Parketronics in 2008. Prior to joining Codan, Matthew gained experience in manufacturing and project engineering through his employment at Gerard Industries and ASC Engineering.

Allan Morichaud

General Manager, Business Systems and Analysis, Codan Limited

Allan holds a Masters Degree in Science (Economics) from the University of Copenhagen, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Adelaide University. Allan joined Codan in 2008 as a Senior Business Analyst, and soon became the Manager for IT and Business Analysis before being appointed General Manager for Business Systems and Analysis in 2009. Prior to Codan Allan was Finance Manager at Hardi Australia, and both Finance Manager and Business Analyst during his five years working for Copenhagen Airports in Denmark.
